Should I keep “Simple Stroke” as the title of the blog? I mean, it’s been about a year. I’m too lazy to come up with something right now, we’ll see what happens. 

Originally this blog was a collaboration between me and my friend Calvin. We wanted to make a blog that we could post all of our creations, as well as to share some of our personal favorites. People could also submit their art and if we found it interesting, we would post it up on our blog, (we’d credit it, of course). Another thing we did, is that you could add either one of us on facebook, and we would put you into our art group. We wanted to make this blog as fun, and awesome as possible, by interacting with others. 

Unfortunately, we got lazy. Extremely lazy.
We pretty much ignored this place for about a year (I’m guessing). I don’t really know what happened. From what I remember, we just sort of came up with the idea, and the next week it just sort of died.

It was until one day where it just hit me. I haven’t made anything relatively good recently, like, crafts or drawings. To be honest, I was getting extremely rusty. Right now, I’m a junior in high school, and I’m only 2 years from going to college. One of my dreams was to major in Art (Graphic Design, Specifically), but there was no way I could ever be as good as I wanted if I didn’t go back to what I was doing. So I decided to do it. 

I wanted to see how much I progressed through out the years, as well as to share it with people. That’s when I remembered this old thing. Oh, this hidden beauty. 

So here I am, back at this old thing. Ready to start this blog, once again. We haven’t actually posted anything, but I will start posting very soon. I’m not sure if my friend Calvin would want to go back to this. I’ll have to ask him.

This blog pretty much has the same things going on. 
I post my stuff, and I reblog the stuff I like. As well as posting other peoples art, and adding you into our art group, if I/we dig ya’. Simple as that.

Or should I say… Simple… as a stroke?

AHAHAHA.. okay, yeah. I’m not that great at jokes, but you get the idea.

So, I’m trying to get into different forms of art. Right now I’m trying out Typography. I’m familiar with the concept, but I haven’t really tried it out yet. This is the first one I’ve done. The font is called Riesling, it’s one of my personal favorites. Overall, I finished this whole thing in 15 mins.
